All the churches in Amarillo have signs out front with great advice like this one which reads "seven days without prayer makes one weak" You often hear "yes, mam, and yall"

Driving through Texas we got two channels on the radio, a Religious one and a rednick country station that was playing a song " If you work your fingers to the bone, what do you get? Bony Fingers" Yeee Ha!

Moving on down the road!

We ended up leaving Thursday night at 8pm it took that long to get everything in order but we couldn't have done it without the help of Derek Beyler who was really there for us up to the end! Thanks Derek!! You ROCK! Thursday night was spent in Kingman Az. Flagstaff was beautiful and we even saw a double rainbow but my battery was dead on my camera so sorry! The good news is I've charged it now and you get to see what Texas looks like!

Friday night was spent in Albuquerque New Mexico.

Here we are Sunday in the great city of Amarillo Texas. Scott has driven the whole way because I don't think I got my fathers Trucking gene. He's been great!

We are Moving!!

I guess you always think maybe someday I'll possibly move to a new house, but I really never thought we after having lived here in Corona 11 years and California our whole lives would pick up and move all the way across the USA! Its kinda scary and fun at the same time. The hard part is leaving behind our sweet daughter and granddaughters Amber, Mia and Addison we will miss them so much. We already are use to missing everyone else since they all left California already. Michael & Andrea and Isabel, Collin & Elliott in Washington State. Sarah and Jared, Ty, Brynlee and Cambry in Idaho. And of course our Buddy Aaron who is at school in Hawaii.
I will miss my sis Karen and of course the wonderful friends we have made along the way through our years here. We love you all and will never forget you. Please come and visit us sometime in Virgina.
We are heading out Wednesday we think, and driving a truck across. I will try to update this blog along the way if we are not too tired. We will drive up to Barstow and then across the hwy 40 all the way. Our love to all who reads this.
